Renovations — Bathrooms, Kitchens & Basements
A renovation is where a house stops working for you and starts working against you — if it is managed badly. Three trades, three schedules, and every delay blamed on the trade before them. That is the experience most homeowners have, and it is entirely avoidable.
We run the whole job. Demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical coordination, tiling, cabinetry, finishing. One crew, one schedule, one person answering your calls. It is the single biggest reason people hire us.

Renovations — common questions
How long does a bathroom or kitchen take?
A straightforward bathroom typically runs a few weeks; a kitchen usually longer, largely because cabinet and counter lead times sit outside our control. We give you a realistic schedule before we start and tell you immediately if something changes it. What we will not do is quote an unrealistically short timeline to win the job.
Can I live at home during the work?
For a single bathroom or kitchen, usually yes — we seal off the work area, protect floors and routes, and clean up at the end of each day. For whole-floor or basement work it is often more comfortable to be elsewhere for part of it. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.
Do I need permits?
Often yes — typically for plumbing, electrical, structural changes and some basement work. We will tell you what your project needs, and handle the paperwork and inspections as part of the job. Skipping permits is a real risk at resale, and it is not a shortcut we take.
What drives the cost of a renovation?
Size, how much we find behind the walls once they are open, the finish level you choose, and whether the layout is changing. Moving plumbing is the single biggest cost lever in any bathroom. We scope it, explain the trade-offs, and give you a firm price before demolition starts.
