Everything your house needs. Except building a new one.
Fix Right is a renovation and repair business that covers everything a house needs, from a leaking tap to a full bathroom rebuild. One crew, one number, every trade — so you are not left coordinating five contractors who each blame the other tradesman. We do not build new homes. Everything else, we handle.
Why one crew instead of five
Hiring a contractor usually means hiring several. A plumber for the rough-in, a tiler for the walls, a carpenter for the trim, someone else for the drywall, and a different someone for the concrete outside. Each one is waiting on the last, and when something is wrong, each one has a reason it is not their fault.
You end up as the project manager of your own renovation, which is not what you agreed to and not what you are paying for.
We built this business the other way round. One crew carries the job from demolition to final paint. The trades are sequenced by us rather than negotiated between strangers. If something is wrong, there is nobody to point at — it is our job to make it right, and we do.
What we do, and what we do not
We handle everything a house needs: repairs, renovations, concrete, tiling, vanities and cabinetry, plumbing and piping, drywall, painting, flooring and decks. Seven trades, one number.
The one thing we turn down is building a new home. It is a different business, with different crews, different timelines and different risks. We would rather be genuinely good at renovation and repair than claim to do everything and do none of it well.
Small jobs are welcome here. A lot of contractors will not return a call for a leaking tap or a sticking door, which is exactly why so many of our customers find us that way and then come back when something bigger needs doing.
Who you are hiring
Placeholder — replace this with your own story.Customers hiring a contractor want to know who is turning up at their house. Write two or three sentences here: your name, how long you have been doing this, where you learned the trade, and why you started working for yourself. A photo of you works even better than the words.
